I am trying to help a local business create a logo for themselves, (a bubble tea shop) but I need some advice. We haven't learned logo design in our class yet (I am a creative advertising student), and I'm not sure if we will in this certain class. Logo design is something that I'd really like to learn, but I'm afraid that I'll suck at it and it won't be my strength at all. But I still want to try to give it a shot and help this business.

Does anyone have any tips for creating a great logo?

Thanks!!!!

For the individuals who are about to set out on a brand plan adventure, or believe it's the ideal opportunity for their organization's visual character to experience a cosmetic touch up, here are a few tips to become the best logo design company-

1. Be unique and clever

A logo is the thing that recognizes a brand from its rivals, so it's critical that the picture emerges from the rest — something numerous brands battle with.

2. Understand the brand

Yes, a logo is a picture, but on the other hand it's a prologue to a brand. The logo must contact a particular group of onlookers and when planning, you should remember this.

3. Color is key

At the point when considering the brand's identity, you need to consider each part of the picture. Brilliant and striking hues might snatch somebody's consideration, yet could likewise appear to be brash; quieted tones radiate complexity, yet could be ignored.

4. What's in a name?

A logo comprises of two components: A wordmark and an image. Prior to an organization can consider exclusively speaking to itself with an image, a lot of promoting must be finished.

5. Keep it easy and flexible

It's vital to have an adjusted blend of straightforward and peculiar — you need your logo to be fascinating, however you don't need somebody to need to sit and gaze, breaking down the logo.

6. Don't expect instant success

Logos won't turn out to be in a flash notorious, regardless of the possibility that you've outlined the most wonderful blend of vectors.

You have to know your client. Sometimes a great logo is just an ingenious way of using the companies initials. Sometimes it's having a fun and quirky look at what the company produces or stands for. For instance when you said the company name was a "Bubble Tea Shop" I envisioned an old fashioned porcelain teacup full of bubbles with a couple of bubbles airborne and one of those little bubble blowers resting in the saucer like a spoon, with Fancy Old Fashion Script lettering spelling out the name along side of it or right on the tea cup. Another important thing is picking the right color combinations for the logo. It has to catch the attention of the customer and your client has to feel comfortable with the color combination. I hope that this helps you. You should post the finished logo once your done.

try an italicized font and maybe add a little flourish at the bottom
