In my art class in my first day today I told the teacher I didnt like drawing with grids. We were drawing an egret. I think I may have offended him by accident [and since im the youngest one in the classes at 19 with probably the least experience than the 30-60 year olds], but he said it would help me get the proportions right, but I could erase the grid lines he drew for us if I felt confident enough. So, I erased. He said my egret looked pretty good after some tries. Is it just me who doesnt like grids to draw? They make me nervous and uneasy [like I have to draw everything exactly in place, and make it look perfect] and I think Im more confident without them. They remind me of algebra class. Ick.
