please help me with my idea for my art GCSE final piece?

hey,
i have to design my GCSE art final piece and i has to be on food and i wanted to do sweets like pick 'n' mix and old fashioned sweets.
but we have to have a reason or a message.
like some people are doing it with a cinemas ticket thrown in to show that they used to get them before the cinemas and some put glasses in cause they grandparent used to give it to them.

so what do u think of when you think of sweets?
i think of childhood but how could i portray that in my art?

You could do some nice beautiful sweets and somewhere next to them a tooth with cavity :)

A glass jar of sweet with a child's reflection in it, it could be closed or open or perhaps lying on it's side with sweets tumbling out of it. You could get some great facial distortions.
