That depends on how extensive the designs are. I do freelance race t-shirts, they are, for just the design, $300.00 Or I have done it where I charge $100 for the design with a profit of 1.00 per shirt sold.

Here is example of what I do for the $300

Here is a design I would have charged 150 for

A lot of time and work went into drawing these custom designs and it actually was below fair value what other designers charge. The first design I could have charged up to $800 and gotten it. As long as you are fast I would say average your work at $45 to $85 an hour, with a min of two hour work time.

If the person you are designing for wants something simple adjust your price from $25 to $65 an hour. The more color and more detail the more you should charge.

Think about it this way If you charge $300 and he buys all the materials and sells the shirts at 12.00 a piece for 100 shirts. he will make around a $500 dollar profit and this number climbs the more shirts that are printed. Hope this helps

Are you:

1. Buying the shirts?

2. Buying the ink?

3. Designing the graphics?

4. Printing the graphics?

5. Shipping the shirts?

If you're doing most or all of those things, then $40 is certainly reasonable. $20-30 would be considered cheap. I'd consider anything over $50 expensive, unless you are also covering other costs that I didn't list.

Also, if you're doing graphic design all by yourself, you may even be able to charge more than that. I think the biggest factor is whether the customer tells you what they want on the shirts or whether you design it yourself, from scratch.

May God bless you and your business.

Always a set price and it depends on the company you are doing it for and how it will be used. If it is for a one time event for a small company...lower price. If it is say, the tshirts that will be worn by a large plumbing company for years, charge more. I am thinking in the range of 500 to 1,200
