when i am in art class or just drawing a picture, i never color it. i keep all my art black and white unless if i am forced to color it. i draw really good, and have had compliments from people, and some people try to buy my art. why do i hate coloring pictures? i don't hate colors, i actually love colors when in nature. but i can't stand coloring something

well.. i hate to say it but it relates to your sexuality. i read a study about this exact case. figure out who you are... it might explain it.

We just stuck to Crayola washable crayons and coloring books. I hesitated to use chalkboard paint or anything like that because the kids might think if the chalkboard's on the wall, and I can draw on it, then I can draw on the wall, right? Wrong! And at least the crayons are non-toxic. I did try the Colorwonder stuff with my son when he was maybe a little older than your child. WHile they don't color on things, per se, they can still be messy. if you use too much they become a gooey mess and that means more cleanup. One thing to try would be bathtub paints. THat way, she is supervised directly the entire time to guard against nibbling on the paints, plus cleanup is easy!

sounds like bull to me.

when I draw, I either leave it in pencil (because I always use pencil only in drawings) or put in color afterwards. of course, if it's a fast drawing I'll leave it in pencil but ones I put time in I pretty much almost always use color.

I know people who draw real good with pencil and can draw some pretty crazy stuff (while not coloring, and coloring if he wanted to) and no, I'd know if they were different somehow.
