Okay, well I am doing a report on The Hobbit and it requires a cover page to go with the report. The problem is that I don't know what do draw for the cover. And no, I can't copy and paste a picture from the Internet. I have to hand- write the report and draw an original picture that goes with the book. Any ideas for the picture??? By the way, the report is due by this Friday (March 1, 2013).

Just try your best to draw the Shire, and if you wanted to, you could put Bilbo in it too. You could draw him smoking and sitting in a chair in his front yard like he did in the movie. He probably did it in the book too.

First, expert writers do no longer tend to do their very own paintings. in certainty, publishers will just about consistently use their very own artists to layout their covers. or maybe those will commonly contain an illustrator, format clothier and typographer. each and every diverse writer might have their very own standards concerning what needs to seem on a hide and the place. THEIR merchandising team might settle directly to place the author's call above the identify, or maybe greater effective than the identify. they might settle on the representation seems in the back of the form, or separate, intense or low on the website, plus different requriement like the cost, writer's call and what seems on the returned and the backbone of the e book hide. those are all very incredibly expert skills needing knowledgeable expertise. maximum writers don't have those skills. nevertheless, with all that, maximum e book covers that have illustratons tend to start with a demonstration achieved in classic media, alongside with water color on paper, oils or acrylic on canvas, or from proper staged an lit pictures. Then the representation is sent to an internet site format clothier, who, with the writer's paintings director, settle on on what the hide will seem as though. Fonts and colorations are chosen, tough layouts are examined and finally a layout is chosen and finalized. those final steps are commonly achieved in a committed web site format utility like InDesign, QuarkXPress or comparable. So, i'm uncertain how powerful that's to you, yet InDesign is quite a few hundred money and QuarkXPress is almost one thousand money. good success.
