Looking for more uses of my colored pencils?

Question

I know they have different kinds of pencils for different things. But this is all I have as of now and just wanted to know if anyone has any creative ideas?
I have, Staedtler Ergo Soft Coloured pencils aquarell
And I'm looking for something different to do with them, other than the basic coloring. I draw a lot and usually just use pencil, pen and these when I'm in the mood for some color or if I believe my art will benefit from the use of color.

I'm just curious, is there something else I can do? I'm looking for something new to me & my art.
Anyone have any ideas or anyway of turning the colored pencils into some sort or water paint/texture?

Again, I know there are pencils that can be used as water paints specifically & there are multiple other pencils that are used for other specifics. I'm just looking to make do with what I have!

I used to get a sharpener and carve out colored shavings from the tip, collect them all on the paper and smudge it out with my finger. it's good fun and when the tips gone, just properly sharpen it again and repeat.

You can use multiple colours and play around with that. The shavings kinda become like.. pigment. :3
