Question:
Are there any good drawing exercises?

I want to improve the perspective in my drawings. I generally draw 3/4-way and face-on characters simply standing. I "can" draw slack hands, fists, and flat hands. I often don't draw backgrounds.
I have one perspective book/comic by David Chelsea and no access to classes.
If you could list some daily activities that require poses and backgrounds for it to make much sense, such as blow-drying your hair over the sink, please tell me.
If you could link me to a site with some good tips, that would also be appreciated! (And I know, practice makes perfect. I WILL be practicing a lot.)

Well I can't really list any specific poses. There are just too many that you can do! I suggest doing some real life drawings whenever you can, it'll probably help develop your background drawing skills as well as people. Just look around your house or go out in public and start drawing things or people that catch your eye. It really helps. If you need more people that sit still, then you could always look up pictures of models or people to draw online.

I dont think of tracing would be of any help. Tracing teaches you no longer something. you will possibly desire to draw loose hand to make your self learn how to work out and positioned it on paper. in case you experience subject drawing loose hand, then first use grid technique. once you get used to creating use of grid technique conveniently start up lowering the no. of strains gradually untill you attain to in basic terms one horizontal and one vertical line. once you experience useful sufficient, swap to drawing loose hand.
