I am interested in studying Film Direction course in Mumbai, I have find some institutes which offer this course in Mumbai like-Digital Academy-The Film School,Mumbai Film Academy, LIVEWIRES - THE Film School,Zee Institute of Media and Arts.But I am confused". Please tell me among these institutes which one institute I should choose to study Film Direction which has very good course contents and very good placement record for Film Direction course..........

As the Mumbai Minister of Education, I am particularly qualified to answer your question. In fact, it was quite a coincidence that I a would find a question so completely "up my alley" so to speak.



The Zee Institute, I can hardly recommend, for it has been completely overrun by both monkeys and fleas. Livewires has minimal monkey and flea infestation at this time and could serve your educational needs as it recently repaired its film projector. The Mumbai Film Academy, sadly, is not engaged in the study of cinematic films, rather, the academic study of the amalgam of pollution, flea parts and monkey feces that coats all of Mumbai -- "film" academy -- see. The Digital Academy is now nearly monkey-free, but in the interest of full disclosure, the Digital Academy focuses primarily on the movies about fingers and occasionally toes. Due to more recent confusion surrounding the term"digital", the Academy is strongly considering a name change. I hope you have found this information helpful.

As a student of FTI .I personally found Mdfa Films (Mumbai Digital Films Academy) is one of best Film institute in Mumbai .As the Founder Sanjeev Mohapatra is a working professional ...He strongly focus on Study ..They do nt have big Buildings to show students but they have all equipment which is only for students .

Am a filmmaker and i have been visiting these so called film school come studios. For sure there is no film school in mumbai which can help you if you want to learn about filmmaking. these studio *** schools basically try to run film courses just to ensure steady flow of funds in when the studio is not occupied. Among these film schools i find Digital Academy the funniest one. they speak about big stuff but really got nothing in the name of equipment. Digital Academy often compare themselves with whistling woods, FTII and SRFTI but has got, 1 D55 1z7 and a 5D and says they have got one of the most successful cinematography course. India hai koi bhi kutch bhi bolta hai..... All i want to say is these schools are wastage of time and money. Above all listening to those so called professor who couldn't manage to do anything with their technical knowledge so became a professor.. honestly if one studies on his own he or she can find everything you need to know on the net and i personally guarantee you that you will have the same knowledge in a month that these guys take a year to gather. Finally if its about certs... its of no value.. ifii,srfti ....are also unemployed..and FTII and SRFTI....In India which are upto the mark...Rest are just bullshit..
