you fold up a piece of paper, then you cut designs in it. i also cut around the outside of the paper to make a design .

you can fold a paper 4 times to make a square first and see what makes the nicest holes, i like triangles. squares, diamond shapes also work well.

Here's are a few sites to help you:

Basically, you take a square and fold it a few times. It should end up as a triangle. Take scissors and cut a few open marks into the paper, like triangles into the paper. Unfold the paper and there ya go! It's a snowflake!

I hope I helped. :)

Okay so this is what you need to do:

1)you need to get a piece of plane paper.

2)fold it to a very small square or rectangle which ever you prefer.

3)When done folding your going to cut any little designs you would like.

4)your going to open it when your done and then you will have a snowflake it just a quick time!

I have always wanted to make Christmas Cards with them. Unfortuantely, I am not any god at making the snowflakes. I was thinking you could glue them to a silvery blue paper and add silver glitter glue or use the metallic silver fine point paint markers to add accents to them. I know you can buy envelopes at Joann Fabrics and Walmart in the card making and scrapbooking supplies section. Wish I had your snowflakes! Good Luck!
