I was just thinking about it if there is something like that? I want to use a pencil but without lead?

Don't worry, pencils don't actually have lead in them (they'd never get away with that these days) - they are graphite. If you still want an alternative, I use charcoal pencils and love them, and carbon pencils are similar. There are also Conte pencils that come in colors like sepia and sanguine (both reddish-brown). Both are for drawing, not writing. Then there are colored pencils and watercolor pencils.

Alkaline262 is correct - the "lead" in a pencil is graphite.
If that's not your problem with pencils, though, then you might try colored pencils.

They don't make lead pencils anymore. You're using graphite.
