its the beginning of summer and so im just searching on types of haircuts that would look good on me
im thinking of just leaving my hair to grow a little more so that i can thin it out and get choppy layers but i have some questions
1) do all choppy layers look like you have split ends or emo scene hair
2) witch one do you prefer blended layers or choppy layers
3) i have thick hair right now and its hard to straighten is it easier to get pin straight hair if you get it thined
4) if you thin your hair how long does it last
One answer:
alaska grown.

That depends...

Choppy layers tend to look best on shorter hair which create a chic textured look, like this:

If you're looking for a low maintenance kind of look, that's the way to go! Just buy a thing of hair wax, spike out the ends, straighten the bangs and out you go!

Longer hair w/ choppy layers require a lot more care. If you decide to do longer choppy layered hair then speak to your hairdresser to figure out the best ways to treat it.

Here's an example of how well maintained long choppy hair could look:

Personally, I prefer long layers that are blended.
